Winter Soltice... & my first post.

Aaaaah yes, 'tis winter solstice. Now comes the big turn around. Today the mighty sun begins it's slow but inevitable return to us northern hemispherions and it seems fitting to start this blog in sync with that hopeful resurrection of longer and warmer days to come and the of promise new growth just around the bend. In the myriads of green sprouting living things of all shapes and sizes rising to renew their age old contract with the forces that be I surrender myself to the cyclic rebirth of the ages. I am older now. Am I wiser too? Time will tell. Hail to the sun!

This picture that you have shown here is so inspiring. Sunsets, for me, is like telling people that even though the darkness is now coming, you'll eventually see the light again. And take note, it's going to shine really brighter. I would always remember how beautiful sun is and how it makes my heart sad yet peaceful at the same time. It makes us realize the true meaning of life.

The sun really has a calming effect on us. I hear a lot of suicide cases during winter and they attribute some of this to the lack of sunlight. While some people across the world dream of playing in the snow, they have no idea how lucky they are that they don't need to go through the very cold season. We all know summer is the best season and it's always great to welcome it and give it thanks. Feel free to wave your hand and say Hi.

It is so good to see the sun shinning up above after the winter. I really love the view of it. Oh! That photo of sunset that you had shared was really beautiful. It really feels nostalgic. I am glad that I had visited this blog.
