Today I sit here writing from my new and permanent home. Temporary at first, just renting a room. I've been here for 3 months now and I'm wondering how I ever lived out on my own. Or why would I want to??
Don't get me wrong I love my personal space!
Community and connection have always meant so much to me and now it feels so good to be apart of something bigger than just me... out there on my own.
At first I was apprehensive, having 15 people all there to decide if I could stay or if I need to pack it up and go. Ask me personal questions I rarely share with anyone. Talk about coming out!!!! More important was this feeling of being accepted!! Wow ....they really like me. Maybe I do have something to offer!!! Maybe we all do!!!!
